The elegant jazz by Dave Koz in Jacksonville this June 26
The well-experienced saxophonist Dave Koz is coming to Jacksonville this Thursday, June 26 for sharing the pleasant and relaxing sounds that come from his musical instrument. Also, because of that, he has gained a good reputation in the United States and European countries, especially in German and England.
A review of his musical career
Born in California, Koz studied in la William Howard Taft High School, standing out from the other students for his musical talent. As a result, he became a member of the saxophone band of that institution until his graduation in 1986.
After accompanying well-known musical artists of his genre during the 80’s, Dave decided to continue his career as solo. Thus in 1990 he worked with the Capital Records company and produced his first album, which has his own name, as solo.
If we check the Dave Koz musical repertory, we will find the rest albums as solo: Lucky Man (1993); Off the Beaten Path (1996); Live From Trinidad (1996); December Makes Me Feel This Way (1997); The Dance (1999); A Smooth Jazz Christmas (2001); Golden Slumbers: A Father's Lullaby (2002); Saxophonic (2003); Memories of a Winter's Night (2007); Greatest Hits (Sept. 2008) and Hello Tomorrow (2010).
